Review Policy
At Summit Reset, reviews are a trusted resource for our customers. This policy governs how reviews are solicited, submitted, moderated, and published. It is written to comply with applicable federal consumer protection law, including the FTC's Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials and the FTC's Endorsement Guides.
Definitions
As used in this policy, the following terms have the meanings set forth below.
Eligibility to Submit a Review
To submit a review on summitresetwear.com or through any Summit Reset–administered review solicitation, a reviewer must satisfy all of the following conditions at the time of submission.
- RequiredAge
The reviewer must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Submissions from individuals under 18 are not accepted. By submitting a review, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. This requirement also ensures that any content license granted under Section 9 of this policy is made by an individual with full legal capacity to contract.
- RequiredVerified Purchase
The reviewer must have personally purchased the specific product being reviewed directly from Summit Reset through an authorized sales channel. Reviews submitted for products not purchased from Summit Reset, products received as gifts from third parties without independent purchase, or products purchased through unauthorized resellers are not eligible.
- RequiredFirsthand Experience
The review must reflect the reviewer's own direct, personal experience with the product. Reviews written on behalf of another person, based solely on another person's description, or generated by automated software or artificial intelligence are not eligible.
- RequiredOne Review Per Product Per Purchase
Each reviewer may submit one review per product per verified order. Duplicate submissions of the same review content, or repeated reviews of the same product without a new purchase, are not permitted.
- RequiredDisclosure of Insider Status
Insiders who submit reviews must clearly and conspicuously disclose their material connection to Summit Reset in the body of the review. Insider reviews that do not include a clear and conspicuous disclosure will not be published. See Section 7 for full insider review requirements.
Review Integrity and Our Commitments
Summit Reset is committed to maintaining the integrity of the review process for the benefit of our customers. The following commitments reflect our binding practices and are stated as public notice.
Summit Reset does not create, purchase, commission, or knowingly publish fake reviews. Summit Reset does not compensate any person in exchange for writing a review that expresses a specific positive or negative sentiment, as distinguished from compensation for submitting an honest review of any sentiment. Summit Reset does not suppress, remove, or refuse to publish reviews based on their rating or the sentiment they express.
No Fake Reviews. Summit Reset prohibits the creation, purchase, or dissemination of any review by a person who did not purchase and use the reviewed product, by a person using a fictitious identity, or by a person whose review does not reflect a genuine product experience. This prohibition applies to Summit Reset, its employees, contractors, and any third party acting on its behalf or at its direction.
No Sentiment-Conditional Compensation. Any incentive offered by Summit Reset for submitting a review is offered in exchange for an honest review — meaning a review that reflects the reviewer's genuine opinion regardless of whether that opinion is positive, neutral, or critical. Summit Reset does not offer, promise, or provide any additional benefit to a reviewer because the review is positive, nor does it withhold, reduce, or revoke any promised incentive because the review is negative or critical.
No Suppression of Negative Reviews. Summit Reset does not reject, remove, hide, demote, or otherwise suppress a review based solely on the fact that it expresses a negative, critical, or low-rating opinion of a product. Moderation decisions are made on the basis of content-neutral criteria described in Section 6. Summit Reset does not use legal threats, unjust claims, reputational threats, or economic pressure to discourage customers from posting, maintaining, or sharing negative reviews on any platform.
No Selective Display. Summit Reset does not curate or display subsets of reviews in a manner that would create a false impression of the overall sentiment of consumer reviews for any product. When Summit Reset displays a representative sample of reviews, that sample is not filtered by rating or sentiment.
Incentivized Reviews
Summit Reset may, from time to time, offer customers an incentive — such as a discount on a future purchase — in connection with submitting a review. This section governs all such programs and is intended to comply with 16 CFR Part 465 and 16 CFR § 255.5.
Honest Review Required; Sentiment Never Conditioned. Any incentive offered by Summit Reset is given in exchange for an honest review reflecting the reviewer's genuine experience. The availability, value, or delivery of an incentive is never conditioned on the review expressing a positive or favorable opinion. A reviewer who submits a critical or negative review in connection with an incentive program receives the same incentive as a reviewer who submits a positive review, provided the review otherwise complies with the submission standards in Section 5.
Required Disclosure. Any review submitted in connection with an incentive program will be labeled with a clear and conspicuous disclosure, such as "Incentivized Review" or "Reviewer received a discount in exchange for this review," displayed in close proximity to the review content and in a manner that is easily noticed before the review content is read. This disclosure is applied by Summit Reset to all such reviews regardless of whether the reviewer affirmatively discloses the incentive.
No Post-Submission Incentive Conditioning. Summit Reset does not offer, promise, or provide any additional incentive to a reviewer in exchange for modifying, removing, withdrawing, or changing the rating of a previously submitted review. Summit Reset does not condition the resolution of a customer service dispute, return, or refund on a customer agreeing to alter or withdraw a negative review.
Media-Enhanced Review Incentives. Where Summit Reset offers an enhanced incentive (such as a higher-value discount) for reviews that include a photograph or video, that enhancement is offered in exchange for the media submission itself and remains available regardless of whether the accompanying review content is positive, neutral, or critical.
If you believe you have been denied a promised incentive because your review was negative or critical, or if you have been asked to change or remove a review in connection with a customer service resolution, please contact us. You may also report concerns about our practices to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
Review Submission Standards
Submitted reviews must satisfy the content standards below. These standards are applied on a content-neutral basis and are not used as a mechanism to suppress reviews based on their rating or sentiment.
A review must:
- ✓ Required
Reflect the reviewer's genuine firsthand experience with the specific product purchased.
- ✓ Required
Be relevant to the product's quality, fit, feel, performance, or other product-related characteristics.
- ✓ Required
Be truthful and not contain statements the reviewer knows to be false or materially misleading.
- ✓ Required
If submitted by an Insider (as defined in Section 1), include a clear and conspicuous disclosure of the reviewer's material connection to Summit Reset.
A review must not:
- ✗ ProhibitedSpam or Duplicate Content
Contain repeated, substantially identical, or mass-generated text; the same review submitted multiple times; or content that appears to be generated by automated software rather than a human reviewer.
- ✗ ProhibitedOffensive or Harassing Language
Contain profanity, hate speech, threats, personal attacks, or content that is discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or other protected characteristics.
- ✗ ProhibitedPrivate or Personally Identifiable Information
Disclose the full name, address, phone number, email address, financial information, or other private information of any individual other than the reviewer, or disclose the reviewer's own private information in a way that creates a risk of harm.
- ✗ ProhibitedUnrelated or Promotional Content
Contain promotional content for a third-party business or product, links to external websites, solicitations, advertisements, or content that is unrelated to the reviewer's product experience.
- ✗ ProhibitedFalse Factual Claims
Contain statements of fact that the reviewer knows or should know to be false, including false claims about product ingredients, country of manufacture, certifications, or safety.
- ✗ ProhibitedUnauthorized Third-Party Media
Include photographs, videos, or other media that the reviewer does not own, has no right to use, or does not have the right to license to Summit Reset for the purposes described in Section 9.
- ✗ ProhibitedIllegal Content
Contain content that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law, including defamation, obscenity, or intellectual property infringement.
- ✗ ProhibitedFake Identity
Be submitted under a false name or fictitious identity, through an account the reviewer does not control, or on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent.
Review Moderation
Pre-Publication Review. Summit Reset reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review submitted content before it is published. Pre-publication review, where exercised, is conducted to evaluate compliance with the submission standards in Section 5. It is not used as a mechanism to delay or prevent publication of negative or critical reviews that comply with those standards.
Grounds for Non-Publication or Removal. A review may be rejected before publication or removed after publication only on one or more of the following content-neutral grounds:
- Remove
The reviewer does not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 2.
- Remove
The review contains content prohibited under Section 5.
- Remove
The review is a duplicate submission of previously published content by the same reviewer for the same product.
- Remove
Summit Reset receives credible evidence that the review was fabricated, purchased, or does not reflect a genuine product experience.
- Remove
Summit Reset receives a valid legal order, such as a court order, requiring removal of specific content.
- Remove
The review discloses private personal information that creates a genuine safety risk to an identifiable individual.
Summit Reset does not reject or remove a review solely because it expresses a negative opinion, assigns a low rating, or criticizes a product. A one-star review that complies with Section 5 will be published. Summit Reset does not use moderation as a pretext to suppress negative reviews, and any pattern of review suppression based on sentiment would constitute a violation of 16 CFR § 465.7.
Editing for Length or Clarity. Summit Reset may edit submitted review text for length or clarity — for example, to correct obvious typographical errors or to truncate an unusually long submission for display purposes — provided that any such editing does not alter the meaning, sentiment, or material substance of the review. Where a review is edited, the original substance of the reviewer's opinion is preserved.
Notice of Non-Publication. Where Summit Reset declines to publish a submitted review, we will make a reasonable effort to notify the submitter of the reason for non-publication via the contact information associated with the order. This notification obligation does not apply where the submission was clearly spam or where notification would be impractical.
Insider Reviews and Material Connection Disclosure
Federal law requires that any person who has a material connection to Summit Reset — including employees, contractors, brand ambassadors, paid affiliates, and their immediate family members — must clearly and conspicuously disclose that connection in any review or public endorsement they make of Summit Reset products. This requirement applies regardless of the platform on which the review appears and regardless of whether the review is solicited by Summit Reset. This policy is consistent with 16 CFR § 255.5 and 16 CFR § 465.3.
Required Disclosure Language. An Insider who submits a review must include, in the body of the review text, a clear statement of their relationship to Summit Reset. Acceptable disclosure language includes statements such as: "I work for Summit Reset," "I am an employee of Summit Reset," "I received this product as an employee," "I am a paid brand ambassador for Summit Reset," or similar language that would cause a reasonable consumer to understand the reviewer's connection to the company.
Insider Reviews Without Disclosure Will Not Be Published. Summit Reset will not publish any review submitted by an Insider that does not include the required disclosure. If Summit Reset subsequently determines that a published review was submitted by an Insider without the required disclosure, that review will be removed or updated to include the disclosure.
No Direction of Insider Sentiment. Summit Reset does not instruct, direct, or encourage Insiders to write positive reviews, to assign high ratings, or to omit material facts from their reviews. Insiders who submit reviews are expected to provide their honest opinion.
Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited for all persons, including customers, Insiders, competitors, and third parties. Summit Reset reserves all legal remedies available under applicable federal and state law, including claims under the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1125) and the Virginia Consumer Protection Act, against persons who engage in prohibited conduct affecting Summit Reset's reviews.
- ✗ ProhibitedFake Review Submission
Submitting, coordinating, purchasing, or facilitating the submission of any review by a person who did not purchase and personally use the reviewed product, or by a person using a false identity.
- ✗ ProhibitedReview Brigading
Organizing, encouraging, or participating in a coordinated campaign to flood Summit Reset's product pages with positive or negative reviews, regardless of the organizer's motivation.
- ✗ ProhibitedCompetitor Review Manipulation
Submitting false or malicious reviews of Summit Reset products for the purpose of damaging Summit Reset's reputation or competitive position.
- ✗ ProhibitedReview Exchange
Offering, accepting, or participating in any arrangement in which positive reviews of Summit Reset are exchanged for positive reviews of another business or product.
- ✗ ProhibitedUndisclosed Paid Endorsements
Posting, publishing, or sharing any review or endorsement of Summit Reset products in any public forum — including social media — in exchange for compensation or an incentive without clearly and conspicuously disclosing that material connection.
- ✗ ProhibitedAI-Generated Reviews
Submitting reviews generated in whole or in material part by artificial intelligence, a large language model, or other automated text-generation tool, without accurate disclosure that the content was so generated.
User-Generated Content License
License Grant. By submitting a review, photograph, video, or any other original content to Summit Reset ("Submitted Content"), you grant Summit Reset LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, edit for length or clarity, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit the Submitted Content for any lawful commercial or non-commercial purpose, including but not limited to display on our website, inclusion in email marketing communications, use in social media posts, and use in paid advertising and promotional materials, in any media or format now known or hereafter developed.
What This License Does Not Include. This license does not transfer ownership of your Submitted Content to Summit Reset. You retain ownership of your original content. This license does not permit Summit Reset to use your Submitted Content in a manner that falsely implies your endorsement of any product or service you did not review, or in a manner that is defamatory, obscene, or misleading about your views. Summit Reset will not sell your Submitted Content as a standalone asset to unaffiliated third parties.
Your Representations and Warranties. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the original author and sole owner of the Submitted Content, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions from the owner(s) of any third-party content included in your submission; (b) the Submitted Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, right of publicity, or any other rights of any third party; (c) any person identifiable in a submitted photograph or video has given their consent to Summit Reset's use of that image in the manner described by this policy; and (d) you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to grant this license.
Content Removal Requests. You may request that Summit Reset remove your Submitted Content from active display by contacting us. Summit Reset will make commercially reasonable efforts to honor such requests for removal from our owned channels within thirty (30) days of receiving a valid request. Removal from third-party platforms where the content has been shared is not guaranteed and is subject to the terms and technical capabilities of those platforms. This removal right does not constitute a withdrawal of the license for content already published, distributed, or incorporated into derivative works prior to the removal request.
No Personal Information Sold. Summit Reset does not sell the personal information of reviewers — including names, email addresses, or purchase history — to unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing use.

Please include your order number and a description of the issue. Summit Reset will review the complaint and provide a written response within ten (10) business days.
Third-Party Complaints. If you are a consumer who believes that a published Summit Reset review is fake, fraudulent, or otherwise violates this policy, you may report your concern to us through our Contact Form.

Governing Law. This policy and any dispute arising from the review process is governed by applicable federal and state law. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable federal law, including the FTC Act (15 U.S.C. § 45) or the FTC's Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465).

If a review solicitation email also includes promotional content, Summit Reset will comply with applicable requirements of the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), including honoring opt-out requests promptly.
Summit Reset does not sell reviewer personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their independent commercial purposes.
